welcome to the beach

Crescent Beach is nestled in the heart of Algoma, a Lake Michigan shoreline community in Northeast Wisconsin located at the southern end of the Door Peninsula. Complete with groomed sand, a natural beach area and a scenic half-mile boardwalk, the beach serves as a reprieve from the heat of the summer as well as the source for beautiful imagery all year long. Together we can protect the integrity of the beach so it can be the source of enjoyment for generations to come.

Crescent Beach is a public swimming beach located in the heart of Algoma, Wisconsin on the shore of Lake Michigan. A half-mile long handicap accessible boardwalk edges a portion of the sandy beach from the Algoma Visitor Center (1226 Lake Street) to the south to a picturesque lighthouse view to the north. Parking is available at the north end of the boardwalk and along Lake Street/Highway 42. Many downtown shops and restaurants are within walking distance.
